Food, part 2

Not to detract from my fabulous news from yesterday, but I have to post a pet peeve of mine...running out of milk after you've already poured the cereal, and the milk on top of it.
*sigh*
Now I have a bowl full of Raisin Bran swimming in about a quarter cup of milk. This is so wrong...but I'm so very hungry.

From my world of bachelor living ...
Push most of the cereal into a heap so that one quarter of the bowl is just milk. Take a spoonful of cereal, submerge in milk and you're good to go. It helps to pour back the excess milk.

Congratulations on finishing your revisions. And the milk ;)

My suggestion is to just keep stirring as you eat. It coats everything with milk, so you get the sweet taste of the milk everywhere, but don't need to use nearly as much. I don't like cereal soggy, so swimming in milk is not good for me. But stirring as you are dipping in for a spoonful? Only makes sense. Then it all gets some milk and doesn't get soggy. I'd have never thought of David's idea, but it's good too.

I've topped it up with water. Once. It was...not good.
