Inspiration...
Sometimes the hardest part about being a writer is not being around other writers. Other times, that's the best part.Last night was one of those times.
Writing is interesting. There are so many avenues to consider, and as the writer, you get to play puppet master.
As P.M., I've been struggling for MONTHS trying to figure out the hero of my current WiP. I couldn't get a lock. But last night I had a breakthrough. I finally figured out his deal, his shtick, his motivation.
And realized I was writing the wrong book.
D'oh!
Well, at least I was only 30 pages in. And some of it can still be used. But a lot can't. I guess it's time to get cracking...
