Is that the sun??
In Seattle, it's not uncommon to go months without really seeing the sun. Oh, we have daylight, but even on the non-rainy days, it's usually overcast to the point of bleakness. Our winters are rainy, cold and gray. At least, that's a typical winter. But we've now had a week of beautiful days, culminating in today. Sunny and mid-50's. I'm even venturing out without a jacket! This is my favorite kind of day, full of possibilities. So here's to the sun! I'm off to enjoy it for a bit. The writing can wait until a little later this afternoon. You know.
